A curtain of air, the whole length
The chamber evens the pressure out from end to end, so the slot gives the same amount of air along its whole run. The jet leaves the slot and drops into the room as a wide, even curtain rather than a single stream from one point — which is why the linear goes above glazing, along a worktop, or down the length of a long room.

Common questions
Stock lengths are 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 and 2.5 m, stepping in 50 cm — 1.0 and 1.5 m have two Ø75 mm spigots, 2.0 m has three. Any other length can be made to order. Production takes 5–7 days and the diffuser arrives assembled and tested.
It clamps into the Slot 40 ceiling profile, for PVC and fabric stretch-ceiling systems. The membrane is clamped either side of the slot, so the ceiling and the slot frame finish in one plane.
No — that is what the round Vulkan does. The slot delivers a wide, even curtain of air downwards along its whole length, which is why it suits glazing, worktops and long rooms.
